Close CRM Just Launched Chloe

If you're a Close CRM user, you've probably already seen the announcement. And if you haven't — stop what you're doing, because this one is worth paying attention to.

Close just launched Chloe, an AI sales teammate built directly into Close CRM. Not integrated. Not bolted on. Built in. And what she does is going to change the way a lot of sales teams operate.

We've been deep in the Close ecosystem for a long time. This is the most excited we've been about a Close release in a while.

What exactly did Close launch?

Close launched Chloe as their first AI voice agent — an AI caller that lives inside Close and handles inbound lead qualification end-to-end.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  1. A lead comes in.
  2. Chloe calls them immediately — not when someone is available, immediately.
  3. She runs a real qualifying conversation: asks your questions, answers theirs, handles objections.
  4. She books the meeting (or routes to a live rep).
  5. Before the call ends, she logs everything in Close — the full conversation, outcome, call recording, transcript, summary, and next steps.
  6. Your rep opens the lead and already knows everything.

Close's own team put it simply: "We've believed for a long time that real conversations close more deals. The problem has always been that conversations don't scale. Until now."

That's not marketing. That's a real problem they've actually solved.

Why is this different from other AI voice agents?

The AI voice agent space is getting loud fast. So it's fair to ask: what makes Chloe worth the attention?

It's native to Close.
Every other AI caller on the market requires an integration — you buy the tool, connect it to your CRM, manage sync delays, hope the data lands correctly, and maintain a second vendor relationship indefinitely. Chloe doesn't work with Close. She is Close. Your leads, qualification data, call recordings, and outcomes all live in the same place they always have. Zero sync issues. Zero new vendor.

Close didn't rush it.
The team has been building this for months, and they were explicit about why it took time: "We didn't rush Chloe out to market because we didn't want to simply bolt an AI slop machine on top of our CRM." In a space full of fast-follows and half-baked AI features, that kind of restraint is worth noting.

This is the beginning of something bigger.
Close has made it clear that Chloe isn't just a voice feature — she's the foundation of the AI layer across the entire platform. Voice qualification is her first skill. What comes next will touch every stage of the sales motion, before and after calls. Getting in now means being part of shaping what that becomes.

What are real Close customers saying?

Close is being thoughtful about early metrics, but they've already shared this from an Alpha customer:

"We were losing leads because of speed to lead. Our team was too small to see every single one of these leads hot the moment it comes in. But Chloe can absolutely contact immediately… I was impressed with the fact that she was persistent… she's phenomenal."

Speed to lead is one of the most documented leverage points in sales. Respond within five minutes and your connect rate is dramatically higher than responding in thirty.

Most small teams can't staff for that window. Chloe closes the gap permanently.

What does RevPilot think?

We're excited — genuinely. And we don't say that about every new AI tool that lands in our inbox.

What Close has built here addresses a real structural problem for small and mid-sized sales teams: the gap between lead volume and human bandwidth. For teams running Close who are losing leads to slow response times, or burning rep capacity on unqualified discovery calls, Chloe is a serious solution.

That said — and this is important — Chloe performs best when the foundation underneath her is solid. She needs a clear qualification framework to run. She needs clean CRM data to work from. She needs a well-designed handoff so your reps actually benefit from the context she captures.

If you plug Chloe into a process that isn't defined yet, you'll get faster chaos. If you plug her into a tight, well-built sales process, you'll get real leverage.

This is exactly the kind of implementation work we do with Close customers every day. When the infrastructure is right, tools like Chloe do exactly what they promise.

How do you get access to Chloe?

Chloe is currently in Beta, and Close is opening it to small cohorts on a rolling basis. Here's what Beta includes:

  • Free during early Beta — no usage fees, no startup costs
  • Founding-member pricing — locked in before general availability pricing is set
  • Priority support — a dedicated Beta team for questions and edge cases
  • Direct line to the Close team — your feedback shapes what Chloe does next
  • A real head start — you're running live AI qualification before most of your competitors have even signed up

Beta is currently English-only, and an active Close subscription is required.

To join, head to Close's website and fill out the waitlist form. (Yes — Chloe herself will call you to complete the signup. A nice touch.)

Should you join the Beta?

If you're already on Close and inbound response speed is a real constraint for your team — yes. The upside of getting in early, at no cost, with founding-member pricing locked in, is meaningful.

If you're not on Close yet and this announcement has you curious about the platform — this is a good time to take a closer look. Chloe is the kind of native capability that's hard to replicate with a patchwork of integrations.

And if you want help thinking through whether your current Close setup is ready to get the most out of Chloe — that's exactly what we do.
